You people will be cursing me on seeing the topic !!! But the reason for my sadness was Mr. Rameez Raja !!! The poor commentator from Pakistan has eaten away my Mind !!! I really missed Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu yesterday !!!
Rameez Raja is known for his Disciplined Cricket !!! Believe it or not - he is the first player to get out for OBSTRUCTING THE FIELD !!! This genius scored 98 runs versus England in that match !!! It was last over of the match and he was on strike !!! He placed the ball and attempted for double !!! But throw was well in time to make him out !!! Intelligent Rameez came to knew that and interrupted the ball with his bat, so that it didn't reach Wicket keeper and hence given out !!!
I don't think there is a worst possible way of getting out than this !!! But these days, this guy speaks like founder of Cricket discipline !!! This makes me feel irritated !!!
I could never forget Sidhu giving him nose cuts during India and Australia Match in which Parthiv Patel made his debut !!!
You can support your team from commentary box to an extent !!! But its bad to do false campaign from this honorable position !!! If you wanna be more biased to your team, its advisable to be along with audience !!!
Yesterday Rameez was not accepting his defeat even when 9 wickets were down !!! Is it optimism or patriotism or Making Indian audiences fool !!!
One more character which I hate most in him - Insulting Personnel (specially Indians) !!! Once Munaf Patel was awarded Man of Match !!! Rameez was hosting presentation ceremony !!! He was well aware that Munaf is consistent with his line and length but not with his English !!! But Rameez continued questioning Munaf in English !!!
But whenever, Ravi Shastri or any Indian hosts a ceremony, they prefer to interview Pakistanis in Hindi, since they are more comfortable in it !!! I have to accept, Mr. Wasim Akram does swings to language which makes player comfortable !!!
If ICC can have control over the commentators room and avoid such false hopes, Cricket could be made more exciting !!!
There are many people in this World who never listens to known personnel's speech !!! They think that third person knows better than us !!! And people of those kind gets easily carried away by these speakers !!!
My personnel view - Keep your hands clean before pointing someone else !!!
